Introduction We often get asked: “Should I use Bubble Wrap or Foam?” Both are excellent cushioning materials, but they serve different purposes. As a manufacturer of both, Evaras Techno Pack helps you decide which is best for your product.
1. Air Bubble Packaging
- Best For: Shock absorption and void filling.
- How it Works: The air-filled hemispheres create a barrier against impact. It is ideal for fragile items like glass, electronics, and ceramics.
- Our Options: We provide gauges ranging from 180 GSM to 800 GSM, ensuring protection for everything from light bulbs to heavy automotive parts.
2. EPE Foam (Expanded Polyethylene)
- Best For: Surface protection and scratch resistance.
- How it Works: EPE Foam is non-abrasive and soft. It is perfect for wrapping painted surfaces, polished metal, or screens where you need to prevent scratches during vibration.
- Our Options: Available in thin rolls (1mm) for wrapping or thick sheets (up to 60mm bundles) for corner cushioning.
The Verdict If you are worried about breakage (drops), use Bubble Wrap. If you are worried about aesthetics (scratches), use EPE Foam. For premium protection, many of our clients use a combination of both.
